When asked to write a piece for Grisham Middle, I asked who should the piece be dedicated to. The directors told me to dedicate the piece to the instructors and tutors of the students. Like many great athletes and icons in life, they had people who believed in them and guided them through mysteries and challenges. Those coaches, mentors, and supporters help those and give them the push that they need and when the time comes they will give those people the chance to go on to greatness. READY.SET.GO is the depiction of training and mastering one's craft to reach a certain goal. The piece keeps a steady and intense pace while involving challenging grooves and colors- like the structure of a training montage. As the piece goes on - like the support of the people who want the best for you- the piece gets filled with energy and strength; ultimately leading to a sonic illustration of success.

This piece is a reminder that even with the littlest bit of faith you can go far and when there are people who believe in you then your world is limitless.
